A team of highly trained Energy Engineers are able to provide solutions which will improve energy sufficiency of your premises, offering energy saving and economic advantages that will make your building durable and economically beneficial to your annual budget.

Solar Parks

Photovoltaics is one of the most promising technologies of the new era in the field of energy. The gradual increase of small generators can effectively meet the steady increase in electricity demand which would otherwise have to be met by new power plants with all the environmental and economic impacts.
Advantages of Solar Panels
  • Zero pollution
  • Silent mode
  • Reliability and long service life (up to 30 years)
  • Dependence on fuel supply for remote areas
  • Expandable as needed
  • Minimal maintenance

Photovoltaic Systems for Home and Industrial Buildings

Photovoltaics are functional as they offer scalability of their power and the possibility of storing the energy produced (in the network or in batteries) thus eliminating the disadvantage of discontinuous energy production. Giving the consumer complete control, and direct access to the data related to the produced and consumed energy, make him more careful in the way he consumes the energy and thus contribute to the rational use and saving of energy.

Exterior Thermal Insulation Systems

Thermal insulation is the ability to maintain the desired temperature inside a room. For example, in summer, the thermal insulation does not allow the hot air that is outside to penetrate the walls and enter while maintaining the cold climate that we have created with the air conditioner. Respectively, in winter, the cold air is blocked outside the house and at the same time the warm indoor atmosphere from the radiators is maintained inside the space. In recent years, both manufacturers and individuals are becoming aware that thermal insulation is a choice with multiple benefits, as it contributes significantly to lower fuel consumption while protecting the building shell and the environment.
Advantages of external thermal insulation
  • Energy saving
  • Reduce the cost of cooling or heating systems
  • Contribution to the protection of the environment
  • Improving the quality of life
  • Weather protection
  • Increase the value of the building
  • Maximum protection against cracks
  • Mold control

Energy Saving Systems

Industrial Lighting & Architectural Lighting

Industrial Lighting

It is an investment that “returns” and the benefit is significant both in absolute financial terms and in increasing employee productivity. Industrial lighting guarantees increased productivity and energy savings.
Why Choosing LED Lights
  • Consumes less energy
  • LED bulbs have a longer lifespan and are environmentally friendly

Architectural Lighting

Reducing energy consumption combined with ensuring biological comfort, is one of the basic design criteria of integrated architectural lighting.
Light, natural and artificial, defines the space, highlights the colors, reveals the intricate details of texture and form and has the power to dramatically transform the atmosphere of any indoor or outdoor space.
G.M Oikodomein offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor lighting solutions for restaurants, hotels, private homes, parks, shops, etc. We provide technical design assistance with the aim of a complete, energy efficient, architectural lighting solution.

Voltage Optimiser

VOLTAGE OPTIMISER is a cutting-edge technology equipment that is offering incredible benefits in terms of power savings! All the electrical equipment you have at home are designed to operate at a specific optimal voltage. Usually there is little control over the voltage you receive and on average, voltages are far higher than they need to be, this makes many of your electrical devices waste electricity and reduce their lifetime.
The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) is producing a voltage range from 220 to 240Vac but the optimal voltage for the devices is 220Vac. The aim of the voltage optimizer is to let only 220Vac voltage to pass through to an electrical device, and therefore to consume only the required energy.
Using the voltage optimizer you can save on electricity costs, reduce emissions of CO 2 and extend the lifetime of electrical equipment. The voltage optimizer should be installed after the meter of EAC but before the distribution board, and operate 24 hours a day 7 days per week.

Energy Management System

In recent years, with the introduction of information technology in the field of automation, energy management systems (BEMS) have become quite popular, in buildings mainly in the commercial sector.
These systems offer control of the environmental parameters of the buildings through channels of sensors and actuators which either have a central control system or operate in a decentralized manner. The direct consequence of this is that, with the application of appropriate control algorithms, it is possible to ensure both comfort conditions and energy savings.
Used of BEMS systems:
  • Automation services and control functions
  • Heating, cooling, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC)
  • General lighting and emergency lighting
  • Energy management
  • Safety and protection
  • Identification and diagnosis of errors

Air-condition systems

Air conditioning is called the regulation of temperature, humidity, movement and air purity of a room, which is called air conditioning.
The basic functions performed in an air conditioning system are:
  • Heating: is the process of adding thermal energy (heat) to the air of the air-conditioned room in order to raise the temperature or maintain the temperature at certain limits (see thermostat).
  • Cooling: is the process of removing thermal energy (heat) from the air of the air-conditioned room in order to drop the temperature or maintain the temperature at certain limits (see thermostat).
  • Humidification: is the process of adding water (humidity) to the air of the air-conditioned space in order to increase the relative humidity or maintain it at certain limits.
  • Dehumidification: is the process of removing water (humidity) from the air of the air-conditioned space in order to drop the relative humidity or maintain it at certain limits.
  • Air renewal: is the process of taking outside air and discharging air from the premises of the building, in order to dilute the gaseous air impurities and ensure the necessary quality of indoor air.
  • Air purification: is the process of removing particulate and biological air impurities in order to improve and maintain indoor air quality.
